PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rewinder which is capable of exactly detecting drawn out quantity or rewinding quantity by improving the drawing out and rewinding accuracy of photosensitive materials. SOLUTION: An oscillation arm 35, which is made oscillatable about a pin 41, is arranged at a lid 13 and is oscillated in a arrow A direction by a spring 37. A shaft plate 43 is mounted at the oscillation arm 35. Au auxiliary roll 28 is pivotally supported at this shaft plate 43. The auxiliary roll 28 abuts against a drive roll 26 when the lid 13 is closed. The nip point of the auxiliary roll 28 and the drive roll 26 is located on the downstream side of the nip point of the drive roll 26 and a pinch roll 24, and the angle between the nip points is set at about 90 deg.C. Nip force is therefore generated between the auxiliary roll 28 and the drive roll 26 and the winding quantity, at which the photosensitive material 22 is wound around the drive roll 26, increases, and the area that the photosensitive material is brought into contact with the drive roll 26 increases, so that the slip with the drive roll 26 will no longer occur.
