PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying device for coating and printing on a glass vessel capable of drying with a reduced power consumption, shortening a drying time and being applied on a thermosetting resin optimum for a coating film on a transparent glass bottle. SOLUTION: A substantially polygonal or a substantially cylindrical reflection dome 2 formed along the lengthwise direction of the same is provided in a polygonal or cylindrical drying furnace main body 1 formed so as to be long in the horizontal direction. A far infrared rays lamp 3 is arranged in the reflection dome 2 along the lengthwise direction of the same. A conveyor 4 supporting a glass vessel P within the irradiating range of the far infrared rays lamp 3 and moving the vessel P along the lengthwise direction of the drying furnace main body 1 is arranged. The surface temperature of the lamp upon irradiating is set at a given temperature of 300-600 deg.C.
