PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock washer capable of fastening a bolt and a nut without adhesion of a claw to a bearing surface. SOLUTION: This lock washer is disposed between a fastened material and a bolt head part, or between the fastened material and the nut, and a projection is formed on the surface of a claw on the opposite side against the bolt head or the nut that is made to abut on a side surface of the bolt head or a side surface of the nut after the bolt or the nut is fastened with the fastened material. For fastening the bolt or the nut, the projection abuts on the surface of the fastened material to adhere the claw to the surface of the fastened material.
