The control at distance system has a vehicle unit (1) and a personal identification unit (D) which exchange signals to open a lock (O). The personal unit has two receiving units (12a,12b) which are mounted orthogonally and connected in series with a receiving module (3). Each receiving unit comprises a parallel inductor/capacitor circuit and the two circuits have impedances with a non zero phase difference, typically 90 degrees.
