PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise color reproducing accuracy in an image, by means of preventing fluctuation on a light source light quantity of a density sensor. SOLUTION: The light source of the density sensor 113 is let start pulse lighting (step S301). On measuring the output value of a base section on the image carrier 100 corresponding to a position that the toner image is formed thereon later (step S302), sampling of data with regard to the section that the light source is turned thereon (step S303). With regard to the reflected light of the projected light on the toner image (patch), measurement of the output value of the density sensor 113 started (step S304). The sampling of data with regard to the section that the light source is turned on is performed (step S305). |
