<p>The present invention relates to an improved racket (600) for ball sports, e.g., tennis, squash or racket ball, comprising transducers (610,612) and an electrical circuit (618) as well as to a method of manufacturing thereof. In accordance with the present invention, the at least transducer (610,612) is laminated to the frame (602) of the racket (600) and converts upon deformation mechanical power to electrical power. The electrical circuit (618) is connected across the transducer (610,612) and supplies power to the transducer (610,612), wherein all electrical power supplied to the transducer is derived from the power extracted from the mechanical deformation. The transducer (610,612) also converts the electrical power to mechanical power, wherein said mechanical power influences the oscillation characteristics of the racket (600). <IMAGE></p> |
