PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a measuring work simply by a single person, and to measure the neutralization depth accurately with a simple and lightweight device, in a method for estimating the neutralization depth by measuring alkalinity of concrete powder discharged when concrete is bored with a drill. SOLUTION: Plural transparent containers 11 containing a reagent (phenolphthalein solution or the like) 13 are fixed on the concrete surface below a boring spot (measuring spot) 14, and each transparent container 11 is held between transparent partition plates 12, and the drill 2a is pulled out at the moment when the concrete powder 3 dropped into the container 11 is discolored, and the neutralization depth of the concrete is determined from the depth of a drilled hole at that time or from the quantity of the concrete powder in the container.
