<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remodelled handrail allowing easy installation of a new handrail on a floor where an existing old handrail is removed and capable of ensuring safety of the mounted handrail and to provide a reform method for the handrail capable of shortening construction term required for remodelling. SOLUTION: A bracket 1 having substantially one-end opened square cross section is fitted in an end part Ft of the floor F where the existing old handrail is removed, a bolt 6 provided on a lower board 1B of the bracket 1 is tightened to fix the bracket by nipping and holding the floor by an upper board 1A of the bracket 1 and the bolt 6, and a support column and/or a mullion 11 constituting the new handrail H1 are fitted and fixed in a socket 5 fixed on the upper board and the lower board of the bracket to install the new handrail on the floor.</p> |
