PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle effectively correcting a midpoint deviation of a steering angle detecting value of an operating member or a steering angle detecting valve of a steering wheel. SOLUTION: This steering device is so constituted that, where an operation angleδh outputted by an operation angle sensor is a midpoint stationary state (S1) and a state where the output of a reaction actuator applying an operation reaction to the steering wheel is not 0 (S2) is continued for a prescribed time (S4), the midpoint deviation of the operation angle sensor is corrected (S5 and S6).
