<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe end closing fixture capable of being simply mounted on and removed from the open end of any pipe belonging to a piping system. SOLUTION: The pipe end closing fixture 1 is mounted on the top of pipe 30 made of plastics in such a way as fitting the inner cylinder 5 thereon, and through this operation, the inner surface of the pipe 30 is put in tight contact with a ring-shaped packing 7. To remove this pipe end closing tool 1, a female threaded cylinder 13 is rotated to generate an upward movement so that its 13 abutting part 14 causes upward movement of a flange 10a on a slipoff preventive sleeve 10, which 10 is thus separated from the pipe 30, and then the pipe end closing tool 1 can be removed from the pipe 30 simply by drawing off the tool 1 upward.</p> |
