PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively transfer heat of high temperature gas to a radiator, in a heating apparatus using the radiator. SOLUTION: A radiator 12 is constructed by slantingly laminating an arched plate shaped radiation converter element 13, heated by heat of high temperature gas in an interval, where the gap cannot be seen, as viewed from a front surface. To the radiator 12 the high temperature gas is guided from a high- temperature gas generator means 11 for heating of the radiator 12. Hereby, the high-temperature gas flows to the gasp to achieve heat transfer between both surfaces of the radiation conversion element 13 and hence greatly increase the heat collection area. Further, since a boundary layer is discontinued for each radiation conversion element 13, the boundary layer is prevented from being developed. Thus, heat transfer between the radiator 12 and the high temperature gas is effectively achieve. Thereupon, since the gap of the radiator conversion element 13 can not been seen from a front surface, there is no loss of an area over which radiation is emitted. Further, since the front surface of the radiator 12 is curved, radiation emitted therefrom spreads over a wide area.
