PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving tumbler without a defect generating large noise by protrusively contacting an addendum area of a teeth for a chain with a side surface of a cam-shaped element when relative sliding is caused between the driving tumbler and the endless chain. SOLUTION: Particularly, in this driving tumbler 1 for a crawler traveling device for a crane having plural traveling wheels and one endless chain, the driving tumbler 1 is composed of a sprocket 3 having the teeth for the chain on the peripheral surface and two traveling rims arranged on both sides of this sprocket, and the respective traveling rims have basic rings 6 and 6' joined to the sprocket 3, and are constituted so as to rotatably support rotary rings 7 and 7' on these basic rings.
