PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the inflow of dust such as grains of sand, etc., into a return pipe for hot water and enable this kind of dust passing through a filter to be easily and rapidly eliminated at a lower cost. SOLUTION: A drain plug for a bathtub 1 is formed of a base 2 mounted on the bottom surface 1a of the bathtub 1 and a plug 3 mounted detachably on the base 2. The base 2 is provided with a hot-water supply path 2b and a suction path 2c around an inserting part 2a. A supply pipe 4 is connected to the supply path 2b in a communicating manner, and the return pipe 5 is connected to the suction path 2c in the communication manner. An opening part 2g is formed in the position of the peripheral wall of the inserting part 2a corresponding to the bottom surface 2c1 of the suction path 2c. The opening part 2g is closed by the plug 3 during reheating, and the suction path 2c is made to communicate with the inside of the inserting part 2a so as to allow bathwater to be discharged from a drain inlet 2f on the discharge of the bathwater. The connecting part 2e of the return pipe 5 is formed in a higher position than the bottom surface 2c1 of the suction path 2c in the peripheral wall of the base 2. |
