PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform the fact that the actual stage of a speed change gear is different from the stage selected by operating a shift lever and the actual stage correctly. SOLUTION: The information relating to the actual gear position (gear shift stage) PG of the speed change gear is taken at the step S1, and whether the information conforms to the shift lever position PL selected by the shift lever is judged at the step S2. If they conform to each other, an indication section indicating the actual gear position PG lights up at the step S3, and if they do not conform to each other, the indication section indicating the actual gear position PG blinks at the step S4.
