PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway branching device having a new structure capable of securing the reliability of the polar conversion of a rail on the railway branching device and at the same time relieving the maintenance working of the branching device. SOLUTION: In the railway branching device wherein a pair of right and left tong are rails supported on a floor plate between the right and left basic rails and a sleeper can be driven by a switch in the right and left directions, the floor plate integrally couples a pair of the right and left opposite ends of a floor plate member through insulation members, the coupled opposite end introduces constitution coated by a flexible insulation cover, in particular the insulation cover is formed of weather resistant synthetic resin, provided with a venting structure communicating with the outside, and preferably coats dog spikes or the like for the coupling of the floor plate member and the sleeper in addition to bolts and nuts for the opposite end coupling.
