PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for an effective separation of a thermoplastic resin and a flame retardant for treating and recycling a thermoplastic resin composition including the flame retardant. SOLUTION: This treatment method of thermoplastic resin composition including the frame retardant contacts the resin composition including the frame retardant with a solvent havingδH a hydrogen bonding term of the Hansen solubility parameter >=6.0 to dissolve at least a part of the frame retardant.
