PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which prevents image density change on recording paper caused by variations between devices, deterioration in life, etc., and maintains image quality highly accurately and stably. SOLUTION: The device has an electrostatic latent image carrier which forms an electrostatic latent image on by exposure corresponding to image data, a developing roller which forms a toner image on the electrostatic latent image carrier by developing the electrostatic latent image, formed on the electrostatic latent image carrier, with toner, an intermediate transfer body which allows the toner image on the electrostatic latent image carrier to be transferred in a transfer position. The device further has a light emitting part 300 which emits light to a detection toner image on the intermediate transfer body, a lens 1 which changes light emitted from the light emitting part to parallel light, and a light receiving part which converts light emitted and reflected against the intermediate transfer body from the light emitting part into an electrical signal. |
