PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diminish or remove the traces of development, generated in a developed image due to sprocket holes and their peripheries. SOLUTION: The image-forming device and method use a sheet 103 for laminating development. The sheet is stuck on the emulsion surface of an exposed photosensitive film 101 having sprocket holes 105 which extend in the longitudinal direction. The width of the sheet is limited to an image region between the opposite sprocket holes. The excess developing solution or wetting solution supplied to the photosensitive film can be absorbed, by making a sheet 111 for absorption stick on the rear face of the photosensitive film.
