The document (1) has at least one security fibre (2), which is connected to adjoining areas of the document and has at least further security characteristic. The further characteristic can not be detected if the document is intact, but can be detected i the connection between the security fibre and the document is destroyed. Preferably, the fibre is embedded in a paper layer of t document or is stuck onto the paper layer. An Independent claim is included for a method for testing the authenticity of the security document. |
