PURPOSE: A smoke preventing apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent compressed air from penetrating into an engine by achieving a complete combustion at an initial operating stage of the engine. CONSTITUTION: A second intake pipe(5) connects a turbo charger(3) and an intercooler(6). The intercooler(6) is connected to an engine(8) by a third intake pipe(7). The second intake pipe(5) is connected to the third intake pipe(7) through a fourth intake pipe(10). A butterfly valve is installed at a coupling part between the fourth intake pipe(10) and the second intake pipe(5). By operating the butterfly valve, air is selectively introduced into an engine(8) through the turbo charger(3) and the second intake pipe(5), or introduced into the engine(8) through the intercooler(6). The butterfly valve is operated by means of a pneumatic cylinder(30) and a magnetic valve(50).
