PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bedside table which can be kept by putting on a bedside cabinet near the bed when it is not used. SOLUTION: The bedside table is provided with a leg 2, a fixed post 3, which is put up on the leg 2, a post 4 for lifting, which is provided at the fixed post 3 and can regulate lifting and lowering by an adjustable means for lifting, and a subsidiary table 5, which is fixed to the post 4 for lifting, and a table board 6, which is placed on the post 4 for lifting as it can rotate, is held horizontally by the subsidiary table 5, and is kept pendent along the post 4 for lifting. As the leg 2 is U shaped, the bedside table can be insetted from the front of a bedside cabinet 7 in a manner that the bedside cabinet 7 is surrounded by the leg.
