PREPARATION METHOD OF WINDOW GLASS FOR CONTROLLING SUNLIGHT

PURPOSE: A method for preparing the window glass for controlling the sunlight is provided, to reduce the electrical short circuit during the assembling process without deterioration of the sunlight controlling property. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of coating a thin film(3) of tungsten oxide (WO3) or a mixture of tungsten oxide and molybdenum oxide (MoO3) on glass(1) which is coated with indium tin oxide(2); coating a thin film(4) of tantalum oxide(Ta2O3) on the coated layer; and coating a thin film(5) of tungsten oxide or a mixture of tungsten oxide and molybdenum oxide on the coated layer secondly. Preferably the ratio of the thickness of the thin film of tungsten oxide or a mixture of tungsten oxide and molybdenum oxide and that of the thin film of tantalum is 1-200 : 1, and the repeating number of the two thin films is 1-100. Optionally a layer(6) of nickel oxide (NiO) or iridium oxide(IrO2) is coated on the secondly coated thin film of tungsten oxide or a mixture of tungsten oxide and molybdenum oxide.
