PURPOSE: A speed change gearbox of a speed-adjustable textile-rolling device equipped with a safety device is provided to make effective change of gear performed and to improve the convenience in use of a worker. CONSTITUTION: A speed change gearbox of a speed-adjustable textile-rolling device is equipped with a macro adjusting gear set(2), a micro adjusting gear set(3), a step gear set(6), a clutch drive set(4), and plural drive shafts(17). The micro adjusting gear set and macro adjusting gear set are operated by a change gear installed on the drive shaft rolling textile when power is transmitted to the drive shaft. A gear having different tooth ratio is selected to indirectly transmit power to the clutch drive set. A clutch slide plate is used to control engaging with a wheel having a tooth of a step gear set to make transmission of power performed while increase or decrease of speed is selected. Therefore, power, needed to perform changing given to a circular knitting device, is transmitted to the drive shaft pulling textile through a safety device. Therefore, effect change of gear is performed and the convenience in use of a work is improved.
