The container (3) is configured to be suitable for drinking from and comprises means to store a remedy (6) and consumable liquid (4); separating means to prevent interaction between the liquid and remedy; and a lid (7) for sealing the container. The separating means, such as a waterproof wrapping or a waterproof sealing envelope, may be removed to expose the remedy to the liquid to allow the remedy to be readily consumed with the liquid. The remedy is preferably a non-prescription medicine, vitamin or mineral supplement, and the liquid may be fruit juice, water or other liquid that will not interact harmfully with the remedy.
