The ball joint comprises a female element constituted from half shells (20,30) fixed on a support (40). One half shell is square shaped and is fixed on the support upper surface (41). The second half shell is constituted from a plate (30) fixed on a vertical surface (43) of the support. The two half shells comprises a spherical bearing surface (23) maintaining rotation of a spherical part (11) of the male element (10).
