PURPOSE: A vehicle seat for preventing a passenger from being injured in the neck portion is provided to reduce the shock generated when an impact is applied to a passenger by a head rest and an upper end part of a seat back which bend to and fro in response to the impact, thereby preventing the passenger from being injured due to a collision with a following car. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle seat for preventing the neck injury of a passenger includes a waist rest plate(12) mounted at a lower part in a seat back for closely contacting a waist part of a passenger movably backwardly, and a buffering frame(13) mounted at an upper end part in the seat back and integrally assembled with a head rest(10) at an upper end part to move in association with the waist rest plate, wherein the whole buffering frame including the head rest is bent to and fro for supporting a head and neck of the passenger.
