PURPOSE: A display device using a microscopic light modulator and a method of fabricating the display device are provided to improve a contrast ratio and to secure process stability in a supporting part. CONSTITUTION: A display device using a microscopic light modulator includes a substrate, a plurality of fixed electrodes(23a) formed on the substrate in one direction having a fixed interval, and a movable electrode(25) surrounding the fixed electrodes. The movable electrode is overlapped with the fixed electrodes placed adjacent to the movable electrode. A backlight is attached on the bottom of the substrate.
