A substance delivery device 10 suitable for delivery of hormonal and other veterinary treatments intra vaginally is disclosed. The substance delivery device 10 has a substance dispenser 12 releasably attached to a supporting structure 11. The substance dispenser 12 has a central aperture that allows the substance dispenser 12 to slide over a corresponding section of the supporting structure 11. The surface area of the substance dispenser is independent of the supporting structure. The substance dispenser 12 has drug impregnated fingers 13 extending away from the supporting structure 11.
