摘要 PURPOSE: A trunk line link automatic monitoring method in an exchange is provided to automatically cut off a trunk line with an error so that it may not perform a call processing service operation by periodically testing the overall path of a trunk line link device by using signal equipment. CONSTITUTION: A trunk line link control processor periodically receives an automatic link monitoring signal from a dual port RAM of a trunk line link matching board and outputs a corresponding link trunk line select signal to a dual port RAM of the trunk line link matching board(S1). The trunk line link matching board receives the link trunk line select signal and selects a trunk line of a corresponding link(S2). Signal equipment receives a signal equipment connection control signal from a signal equipment control processor and connects corresponding signal equipment(S3). A time switch receives a time switch connection control signal from a time switch control processor and connects a corresponding time switch(S4). The signal equipment receives a testing signal sound transmission control signal from the signal equipment control processor, performs an internal testing by itself and outputs a testing signal sound to the time switch(S5). The signal equipment compares the testing signal sound performed for the internal testing and the testing signal sound transmitted and received through a connection path between the time switch and the trunk line channels of the trunk line link matching board, and outputs a corresponding signal sound result value to a speech path maintenance block through the signal equipment control processor(S6). The speech path maintenance block determines whether there is an error in the trunk line link(S7). If there is no error in the trunk line link, the speech path maintenance block determines whether the overall trunk lines of the corresponding link has been tested(S8).
