PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building type portable telephone base station that prevents dead band areas from being caused without a huge cost even when a peripheral environment is changed. SOLUTION: Antennas AT1, AT2, AT3 are installed on a roof top of a building 1, the antennas AT1, AT2, AT3 are connected to transmitter-receiver sets #1-#3 placed in the building 1, and the building 1 can make transmission reception to/from a portable terminal T1 via the antennas AT1, AT2, AT3. In the case that a high rise building 2 is newly built adjacent to the building 1 and a fault is caused in the directivity of the antenna AT3, the antenna AT3 is relocated to e.g. a roof top of the high rise building 2 that is newly built. Then the building 1 (2) is provided with an optical space transmitter 3a (3b), and the signal sent from the antenna AT3 and the signal received by the antenna AT3 are transmitted between the buildings 1, 2 via the optical space transmitters 3a, 3b. |
