PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sportswear where a protector is made light without decreasing shock-absorbing capacity, and also made wearable as a clothing (sportswear) by improving shock-absorbing members of a protector for sports such as snowboarding. SOLUTION: This sportswear comprises an expanded plastic shock-resilient layer 10 having a contour corresponding to the portion of a wearer's body to be protected, an expanded plastic shock-absorbing layer 11 which is a size smaller than the shock- resilient layer 10 and set on the inner surface thereof, an outer surface-reinforcing fabric 12 disposed on the outer surface of the expanded plastic shock-resilient layer and having a contour with the same size as that of the expanded plastic shock-resilient layer, and a hem fabric 13 for joining the expanded plastic shock-resilient layer 10 to the outer surface-reinforcing fabric 12 together with respective outer peripheral rims; wherein the expanded plastic shock-resilient layer 10 is convexly curved on its outer surface, the expanded plastic shock-absorbing layer 11 is concavely curved on its inner surface, a hollow portion 26 for shock-absorbing air is given between the surface of the wearer's body and the expanded plastic shock-absorbing layer 11 when put on the wearer's body, and the outer surface-reinforcing fabric 12 contributes to appropriate slippage on a shock landing. |
