SINGLE COVER FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a cover used in a casing of an electrochemical battery to simplify a battery manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The cover 30 is provided with a lead terminal rim 52 formed from single body to be machined by machining and a filling part 54. The cover does not require welding except when it is fixed in an opening end 68 of a casing vessel body 42. This is particularly important for the battery which becomes power supply of implant medical treatment equipment because the cover contributes to improve volume efficiency of the battery.
