The hydraulically damped elastomer bearing for use in a vehicle comprises a flexible block (5) which connects coaxial outer (2) and inner (3) sleeves, enclosing two chambers (8, 9) filled with damping fluid. These are connected by throttle channels. One of these contains a damping component whose position varies according to the pressure difference between the two chambers and which controls the cross-section of the second throttle channel.
