CARTRIDGE TYPE SERVER UNIT AND CASING FOR LOADING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide server units having structure in which a plurality of the server units can be loaded on a casing for loading server units and which can efficiently be cooled. SOLUTION: A cartridge type server unit 3 is constituted of a printed wiring board for server device 31, which loads a CPU and a main storage device, receives the supply of power in a constant voltage from outside and has a function for operating as a computer, a radiation plate 33 supported by the wiring board 31 and a front panel 35 supporting the wiring board 31. The front panel 35 supports the wiring board 31 so that the plane of the wiring board 31 is vertically arranged when the server unit 3 is installed. A part of the radiation plate 33 is brought into contact with components which are mounted on the wiring board 31 and are high in heat generation through a heat conduction means and a heat pipe 331 transmitting heat from the contact part to the other parts of the radiation plate.
