PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit building which has a large space formed therein, and is provided with a reinforcing beam capable of refraining propagation of vibrations generated on a story above the large space. SOLUTION: The unit building includes building units 20B for defining the large space. Each building unit 20B is provided with a corner portion 20D which omits a column 41 which is to be provided for each corner of the box-shaped building unit. The unit building is formed of the lower building units 20B which are arranged by gathering the corner portions 20D at one point, upper building units 30A piled up on the lower building units 20B, and a reinforcing beam 70 for reinforcing the corner portions 20D. The reinforcing beam 70 is comprised of a beam main body 71 and a connecting portion 73 attached to the beam main body 71. The beam main body is laid astride the columns 41 arranged on both sides of the corner portions 20D. The connecting portion 73 is connected to the upper building units 30A, and separated from the lower building units 20B.
