SOLUTION: In a refrigerating apparatus, effecting high-pressure protection control narrowing an operation range by setting the upper limit value fmax of an operating frequency by a frequency control mechanism after a high pressure Ph, detected by a high-pressure detecting means, has exceeded a prescribed pressure Phs1, the regulation of operation by the upper limit frequency fmax is released, based on the conditional change of discharging refrigerant of a compressor 1, after continuing the high-pressure protection control operation for a prescribed time t1 whereby rushing again into the high-pressure protection control operation, immediately after releasing the regulation of operation by the upper limit frequency fmax is eliminated. |
