<p>A copolymer (A-1) of ethylene and an a-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, characterized in that: the melt index (MI2) at 190°C under a load of 2.16kg is 0.0001 to 1000g/10 min, the density is 0.899g/cm3 or below, the vinyl content of the copolymer and MI2 satisfy the relationship [c]: (the number of vinyl groups per 1000 carbon atoms) ≤ 0.018038 + 0.003259 x log (MI2) [c] and the vinylidene content of the copolymer and MI2 satisfy the relationship [d]: (the number of vinylidene groups per 1000 carbon atoms) ≤ 0.018038 + 0.003259 x log (MI2) [d] This copolymer (A-1) is excellent in mechanical properties, processability in molding, heat stability in molding and processing, and thermal aging resistance, and useful as moldings including film and sheeting, resin modifier, or rubbery elastomer.</p> |
