METHOD FOR FABRICATING COLLECTING FRICTION PLATE FOR PANTOGRAPH-IMPREGNATED PARAFFIN

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a collecting friction plate for pantograph is provided to enhance the resistance of material to wear by impregnating a solid lubricating agent such as paraffin instead of conductive machine oil into a porous molding sintered compact. CONSTITUTION: A first step involves adding an air hole generating agent on the order of 0.1% to1.0% with respect to total weight of the powered composition which is consisted of copper ranging from 80% to 94%, tin ranging from 3% to 12%, and black-lead ranging from 1% to 8% in weight, and mixing them uniformly. A second step involves pressure-molding the mixture obtained by the process as the above, and sintering them in temperatures ranging from 650 to 850 degrees. A third step involves impregnating paraffin wax into the molded sintered compact. As a result, it is possible to enhance the resistance of material to wear. the air hole generating agent may include zinc stearate, but is not limited to it, include one of other kinds fulfilling an air hole generation and lubricating function during the molding.
