PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a genuineness or spriousness judging body with which the genuineness or spriousness can be definitely judged. SOLUTION: The judging body has a color changing layer 12 and an absorbing layer 13 for transmitted light. The color changing layer 12 reflects light 51 at a specified wavelength in light 50 entering one face of the layer to produce a specified color and transmits the rest of light 52 excluding the reflected light. When the layer is tilted, it reflects light of different wavelengths so change colors, and this allows the body to judge the genuineness or spriousness. The absorbing layer 13 is formed on the other face of the color changing layer 12 and absorbs the light 52 transmitted through the color changing layer 12.
