SOLUTION: The fingerprint authentication type portable telephone 1 reads a fingerprint of a finger contacted with a fingerprint detector 2 thereof, collates the read fingerprint with the previously registered fingerprint, and can originate an unlocking signal to an automatic locking unit 20 or can conduct a speech of a special function when the read fingerprint is confirmed to be matching with the previously registered one. |
