PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable settlement terminal device capable of hiding key operation from the eyes of other people, and having a non-obstructive construction when being carried. SOLUTION: The portable settlement terminal device having a keyboard 103 and a display part 102 for inputting secret information including an identification number via the keyboard comprises a removable and foldable shielding cover 105 mounted on a device body, whereby at least the periphery of the keyboard is shielded excluding the side of the keyboard to be hidden by the hand and body of a keyboard operator. The portable settlement terminal device prevents the key operation from being peeped and the secret such as the identification number from leaking, and has a proper portable construction.
