摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor assuring an enhanced easiness for the assembling operation and welding operation, an increased strength and involving no risk to deteriorate the performance caused by thermal strain at welding by introducing such a structure that a suction pipe and a discharge pipe are connected with the lid of a sealed vessel and the pipings around them are embodied in a dual layer structure formed from steel plates whose surfaces are subjected to copper plating. SOLUTION: A motor and a compression part 3 are installed in a hermetic vessel 1 consisting of a cylindrical trunk having bottom and a lid, and the inside of the vessel 1 is partitioned into a discharge chamber 7 wherefrom a compressed refrigerant is discharged from the discharge hole in the compression part 3 and a motor chamber to store the motor, and a suction pipe 8 to introduce the sucked refrigerant is connected with the suction chamber 7 of the compression part 3 while a discharge pipe 9 to lead out the compressed refrigerant is connected with the discharge chamber 7. Thus the intended hermetic compressor is constructed, wherein the suction pipe 8 and discharge pipe 9 are embodied in a cylindrical dual layer structure such that steel plate whose surfaces are subjected to copper plating are rolled coaxially.
