PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction collector mounted on a traveling body capable of reliably sucking and efficiently collecting granules such as grains and wooden chips in addition to scattered nonslip sand on a road surface, and mechanically implementing a work of dumping the collected granules, etc., in a predetermined place. SOLUTION: A sand collection box 8 is mounted on an elevating/lowering means 2 of a wheel loader 1. The sand collection box 8 comprises a box body 9 and a lid body 12 which is tilted to open. An inner nozzle device 13 and an outer nozzle device are provided before the sand collection box 8 in a vertically movable manner, and a plurality of nozzle bodies for sucking scattered sand along the road surface A are provided on the sand collection box. Each nozzle body is communicated with the box body 9 via a suction pipe 26. A suction device 40 for sucking scattered sand into the box body 9 is mounted on the lid body 12.
