PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of easily performing overtaking control thereby improving the processing time of a memory access system to a large extend in a vector diffusion/collection instruction. SOLUTION: A vector diffusion/collection instruction does not pass through an access area calculating means 5 but is transmitted directly to area storage registers 6 and 7 from a vector store instruction/vector diffusion instruction hold register 3 and a subsequent instruction holding means 4 through signal lines 102 and 103; the signal lines 102 and 103 send the front address and the end address of a memory to be accessed directly to the area storage registers, when he vector store instruction/vector diffusion instruction hold register and the subsequent instruction holding means hold the vector collection/diffusion instruction; the vector diffusion instruction can also be overtaken by a subsequent memory load system instruction in the same manner as the vector store instruction; and the vector collection instruction can also be transmitted while overtaking a memory store system instruction.
