PURPOSE: A multimedia card driver having charging function is provided to record digital data inputted through a USB port in a multimedia card, reproduce data recorded in the multimedia card, and perform charging operation using a battery capable of being charged and discharged. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia card driver having charging function includes a circuit that is constructed of a charging part(60) for providing current to a battery for charging, a multimedia card writer(80) interfaced with a multimedia card recording multimedia files in a semiconductor chip to reproduce the multimedia files, and a controller(70) for controlling the operations of the elements. The multimedia card driver has an insertion hole that guides the multimedia card such that the card interfaces with the multimedia card writer. A space for accommodating the battery is formed on a frame of the driver. When the battery is accommodated in the space, a battery accommodating part supplies the current provided by the charging part to the battery.
