PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply, easily and efficiently conduct repairing of a refractory in a small-sized cupola from outside. SOLUTION: In the small-sized cupola, comprising refractories 4 adhered to an interior and a melting capability of substantially 5 t/hr or lower, a prescribed peripheral part 1A of a furnace body 1 around the vertical axis of a portion, having a melting zone 2 of the body 1 as a body is divided openably and closably, a connecting gap between the part 1A and the body 1 is buried with monolithic refractories 4A and a fixing means 3 which is detachable and attachable at the part 1A from and to the body 1 is provided.
