ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome difficulties in bending a plate which carries a circuit board by the structure of an electronic controller unit which reduces the bend of the circuit board and by its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The electronic controller is made of a first baseplate 12 and a second baseplate 14 which comprise flexible circuit boards and which are spaced apart and placed in parallel to each other. A connector 16 is joined to the intermediate part between the two baseplates. The connector is sealed with reference to end edges of the respective baseplates so as to form one side face of a unit housing. A frame which is composed of three side faces is coupled to other three side edges on the other side of the two baseplates so as to completely enclose the circuit boards. Two main faces of the unit are formed of separate baseplate members which are cut off from the frame after the flexible circuit boards are coupled. As a result, the unit can be manufactured without bending the rigid baseplates to which the flexible circuit boards are attached.
