PURPOSE: A temporary price payment and re-depositing system is provided so that reliability of an electronic commerce can be improved by executing various transaction methods by using an Internet and a computer system. CONSTITUTION: A user(1) sends a postal matter through a post office(2) and a bank(3) on an Internet. The user(1) accesses the post office(2) or other postal matter sending institutions(abbreviated as 'post office'), and demands the post office(2) to send the postal matter. The resulting data is stored in a database of the post office(2, 4). The user receives and prints a receipt on the Internet. The receipt includes a sender, receiver, mailing fee, valid period and contents(5). The user adheres the receipt to the postal matter, and puts it into a mailbox. The post office(2) calculates an exact mailing fee by weighing the postal matter, determines the mailing fee, and inputs it to a computer with the weight of the postal matter. The mailing fee is withdrawn from an account of the user(1). The account of the user has been previously registered on the Internet site of the post office(2, 6). The user(1) deposits significant money to the account(6). The post office(2) delivers the postal matter to the receiver.
