PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface which is easier to use. SOLUTION: The television controller is provided with a starting means, where a hierarchical menu in which an object selected on a display screen is used as a grammatical subject-part clause is started; a change means, where in every stage of the hierarchical menu, the order of the display list of the menu item of a hierarchy being changed on the basis of information is which the menu item selected by an operator in the past is recorded; and a selection means, where regarding an executable function or menu with reference to the object, the menu item is selected from the display list, in such a way that a predicate clause or an object clause is selected sequentially in the hierarchical menu in a succeeding next stage and an issuance means, where when a menu item row created by the operator by the sequential selection completion operation of the menu item is completed as the sentence of a command sentence, a command which is used to execute the command sentence is issued to a television apparatus. |
