PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that correct stored data cannot be read out from a selected memory element 100 sometimes due to variation of a potential level of a bit line 60 caused by cross talk interference among bit lines 60 being adjacent one another. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a bit line selecting means making bit lines corresponding to a memory element reading out stored contents from plural bit lines constituting a memory element array a selection state and a bit line grounding means grounding selectively a bit line being adjacent to a bit line selected by this bit line selecting means.
